Bode Abifarin was the former COO of Flutterwave from 2018 until this year. She drove their business growth, expanding its operations in Africa and other emerging markets. During her tenure, she contributed to the company’s rise to unicorn status in 2022.
Before this, she was an associate director of KPMG Nigeria for 15 years, where she excelled in helping Tier 1 Banks in Nigeria develop strategies for growth and expansion. She led the way in improving how KPMG Africa does things, creating a new way to help them understand and improve their work with their customers. Her published reports are widely cited and referenced in other research and regular business for strategy and operational improvements.
Because of her commitment to giving back to the community, she volunteered at Fate Foundation for over ten years, mentoring and empowering entrepreneurs.
