She founded Designer Babe, a booming community with over 60,000 members that helps designers learn, grow, and thrive.
Mitchelle’s passion lies in solving complex problems and building products that people love. With over seven years of experience working with global Fintech industry leaders like Flutterwave and Wise, she’s consistently designed seamless solutions that solve financial problems for everyday people.
Currently, she is a Product design lead for payments at Ledger, a leading Web3 security company, where she leads the design strategy to create seamless experiences for people using cryptocurrencies.
Mitchelle is a two-time self-published author with her debut book “Clueless To Designer” 2020, inspiring over 4,000 readers to kickstart their design careers. Her other books, “Dear Designer, Write Journal” 2021 and “Coloured Layers” 2023, have become trusted resources for world-class designers. She’s also produced the web series “Lekki To London”, where she explored design careers on the global stage.
In 2022, Mitchelle was awarded the UK Global Talent Visa for her exceptional talent and impact on the global tech community. She also hosts Wine & Design events, connecting designers and tech professionals and fostering skills and collaboration. Outside of work, she enjoys travel, videography, reading, and making cocktails.
