Miracle Okah |

Founded in 2021 by CEO Cathy Chepkemboi, a former Unilever and Moko executive, Tushop is a social commerce platform that encourages groups in Kenya to buy fast-moving consumer goods. The platform was launched after identifying a need for a social commerce platform that directly sources goods from producers and delivers them to shoppers.

Tushop uses community leaders to collect orders and support last-mile deliveries, making it a unique community group buying platform. Their core purpose is to lower living costs by working with communities to elevate livelihoods across Kenya and Africa.

The platform offers a seamless and convenient shopping experience with a user-friendly interface, easy payment options, and fast delivery services. They also guarantee authenticity and quality. Tushop has already helped over 50,000 Nairobians save nearly 16% by shopping with them.

They are one of Kenya’s first social commerce platforms to directly source goods, including fresh produce, from producers and deliver to shoppers, making it a game-changer in the Kenyan market. The company also recently raised $3 million in pre-seed funding led by 4DX Ventures.
