Meet Bola Bardet: Founder of Susu

Miracle Okah |

Bola Bardet is the founder and CEO of Susu, a MedTech startup. The company aims to address the issue of limited access to healthcare in Africa through an inclusive approach. Susu provides high-quality, personalized medical services and insurance coverage for Africans in the diaspora who seek to provide the best healthcare for their families in Africa.

Bola founded Susu after losing her father in 2017 to a poorly managed heart problem due to inadequate healthcare. This tragic event led her to start Susu in order to prevent such incidents from happening again. The healthcare company currently operates in Cote d’Ivoire, Senegal, and Cameroon.

Bola Bardet holds an executive MBA from HEC Paris, is a Chartered Financial Analyst from the CFA Institute, graduated from the Entrepreneurship program at Babson College in San Francisco, and completed the Innovation and Social Business program at the University of Cape Town.
